Civil Sub Engineer

Synergy Builders Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Civil Sub-Engineer to assist in planning, supervising, and executing construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that daily construction activities align with project plans and standards. This position involves fieldwork, site supervision, and close coordination with senior engineers and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision

  • Assist senior engineers in overseeing construction activities and ensuring compliance with design and technical specifications.
  • Conduct routine inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Verify that construction materials, tools, and equipment are available and utilized effectively.

• Project Assistance

  • Support in preparing and interpreting construction drawings, blueprints, and project plans.
  • Document daily site activities, including labor, material usage, and equipment deployment.
  • Identify potential on-site issues and report them to senior engineers with recommended solutions.

• Technical Support

  • Perform basic land surveys and leveling activities.
  • Assist in geotechnical assessments, soil testing, and material sampling when required.
  • Provide accurate measurements, quantities, and estimates for project requirements.

• Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and construction regulations on-site.
  • Support in implementing corrective actions for any discrepancies in construction processes.

• Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
  • Ensure that all tasks are executed as per the project timeline and budget.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Sub-Engineer or in a similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in using tools like AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with site surveying tools and methods.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
