Civil Engineer

Synergy Builders Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Engineer to oversee and execute construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency at construction sites. This role requires both field and office work, with a focus on project planning, site analysis, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution

  • Collaborate with architects, geotechnical engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and design plans.
  • Prepare detailed project schedules, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with local building codes and safety regulations.

• Site Evaluation & Supervision

  • Inspect and evaluate construction sites, including soil and terrain analysis, for feasibility.
  • Monitor ongoing construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and timelines.
  • Conduct site surveys and ensure proper materials, equipment, and workforce deployment.

• Technical Oversight

  • Analyze structural integrity, land movements, and other risk factors at project sites.
  • Recommend corrective measures for geotechnical or structural challenges.
  • Provide solutions to engineering problems using innovative approaches.

• Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all construction work meets quality and safety standards.
  • Review project deliverables and address any discrepancies.

• Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare and present technical reports and project updates to management and clients.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).
• Proven experience (3+ years) in civil engineering or related roles in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
• Proficiency in site surveying tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
