Electrical Sub-Engineer

Synergy Builders Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Sub-Engineer to support the planning, execution, and supervision of electrical systems in construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist in designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems while ensuring safety and quality standards. This role requires fieldwork, close coordination with the project team, and timely reporting of project progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision

  • Assist senior engineers in the supervision of electrical installations, wiring, and related activities.
  • Ensure that electrical work complies with design specifications, safety codes, and project requirements.
  • Monitor the performance of contractors and technicians during project execution.

• Project Assistance

  • Assist in the preparation of electrical layouts, schematics, and detailed project documentation.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to identify and resolve potential issues in electrical systems.
  • Ensure that the correct materials and tools are used during installations.

• Technical Support

  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Assist in load calculations, voltage drop assessments, and system design.
  • Prepare cost estimates for electrical components and materials.

• Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and electrical standards on construction sites.
  • Support in the implementation of corrective measures for any identified electrical issues.

• Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between electricians, contractors, and project teams.
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of electrical equipment and materials.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in electrical engineering or related roles in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
• Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) and tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
