Accountant


Synergy Builders Nepal Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a meticulous and organized Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with local accounting regulations, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization, supporting project teams with budget management, and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management

    • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
    • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Manage payroll, taxes, and statutory payments, ensuring timely compliance.
  • Budgeting and Reporting

    • Assist in preparing budgets and monitoring project expenditures to ensure alignment with approved allocations.
    • Provide financial reports and analysis to management for informed decision-making.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
  • Compliance and Auditing

    • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
    • Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documents and explanations.
    • Maintain accurate and organized financial records for auditing purposes.
  • Accounts Reconciliation

    • Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, invoices, and ledgers.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.
  • Collaboration and Support

    • Collaborate with project managers to track and manage project finances.
    • Liaise with banks, vendors, and external stakeholders for financial transactions and queries.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an Accountant, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting in a project-based environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to commute if required.
